First off, let me disclose that we are not talented at the Pinewood Derby. We are not woodworkers, engineers or even good painters. But at least this year the boys did most of the work. (Last year I built Daelan's car and it came in 2nd to last) It was Kiel's first year, and perhaps he'll rethink doing it all himself next time, but he had a good time.
So, the second run, they put Daelan and Kiel together! What? Poor Kiel's car never even crossed the finish line. It was a low-rider and the wheels were too narrow - it barely even fit on the track. Oops!
At least Daelan won one race - the one against Kiel!
I'm thinking next year we should start working on these a little earlier and perhaps call in some professional help. You should see the competition!!!

Oh Isaac's car was a dissapointment last year. He vowed to never do it again. But here we are and he is as excited as ever.
